WBTS False Prophecies - and the Lying Cover-ups! - 24

In 1917 the WBTS were calling C.T. Russell a Prophet - and from that false prophet's day they constantly claimed 'that the Bible cannot be properly understood without Jehovah's visible organization in mind'  - and 'true Christians appreciate associating with the only organization on earth that understands the "deep things of God"'!

The Watchtower, June 1, 1917, of the WBTS clearly called C.T. Russell a Prophet - not a 'prophet' or a 'kind of prophet' And they did not speak about a 'prophetic group' or a 'prophetic organisation' - and they admit he (C.T. Russell!) 'has passed from human sight'!

So why did they try and twist this clear belief - and even deny producing a biography of their 'great pastor' - later?

What were they trying - and failing - to hide!?

The Watchtower, October 1, 1967 - the WBTS reminds Jehovah's Witnesses that they should not expect to get guidance from the Bible because:

'... the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization not to individuals, regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible.
For  this reason the Bible cannot be properly understood without Jehovah's visible organization in mind.'

Again, we have to remind you of the obvious - if this were true then, before C.T. Russell was born and then formed the WBTS, no one could properly understand the Bible and those who called themselves 'Christians' blundered along making their best guesses at what verses in the Bible meant!

See the next page .............

The Watchtower, May 1, 1981, p17 - the WBTS confirm our conclusion concerning their previous claim:

'
Let the honest-hearted person compare  the kind of preaching of the gospel of the  Kingdom done by the religious systems of  Christendom during all the centuries with that done by Jehovah's Witnesses since the end of World War I in 1918. They are not one and the same kind. That of Jehovah's Witnesses is really "gospel," or "good news," as of God's heavenly kingdom that was established by the enthronement of his Son Jesus Christ at the end of the Gentile Times in 1914. (Luke 21:24) The worldwide witness given to this effect under the barrage of international persecution and opposition could have been given only by means of God's all-conquering spirit.'

The WBTS make an indisputable claim that confirms their claim that no one was preaching - in '
all the centuries' before the arrival of the 'Jehovah's Witnesses [at] the end of World War I in 1918' - the gospel they claim to be 'really "gospel," or "good news" '!

So, again, they confirm what we said of their claim:  '
if this were true then, before C.T. Russell was born and then formed the WBTS, no one could properly understand the Bible and those who called themselves 'Christians' blundered along making their best guesses at what verses in the Bible meant!'

The facts are indisputable - the WBTS share the same attributes of all cult leaders from the Popes of the Papal Roman Catholic cult to the Mormons, Seventh-Day Adventists, Christadelphians, etc.!

They all constantly claim that they alone bring the 'true gospel' and are to be followed - or else you are lost for eternity - and they are ALL blatant, easily identifiable, deceivers!

The Watchtower, November 15, 1981, p21 - the WBTS warn Jehovah's Witnesses again - despite repeatedly getting the time of the 'great tribulation' wrong

'We can expect a similar expansion of our preaching activity now, at this climax of the ages. No doubt, before the "great tribulation" is finished, we will see the greatest witness to God's name and kingdom in the history of this world. And while
now the witness yet includes the invitation to come to Jehovah's organization for salvation, the time no doubt will come when the message takes on a harder tone, like a "great war cry."

The Bible is full of clear statements about the need for all of mankind to come to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation - but can you show us one verse that 'invites' anyone '
to come to Jehovah's organization for salvation'!!!

The answer is an unequivocal 'NO'!

Remember the WBTS claim we looked at earlier (
The Watchtower, September 15, 1910, p288-9) that reading the Bible alone would lead people into darkness - unless, of course, you are studying it through their books?!  Further, on those same pages, they claimed:

'Why should we attempt to preach or teach anything that we do not understand? So, after God favors us in this time with an understanding of Present Truth,
he has given us a knowledge of more truth than we could have gained in a thousand years if we had read and studied unaided; and now we can attempt to present it to others.'

Again, as pointed out earlier:

The Bible clearly reveals the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ when He spoke to all who would be His disciples (John 16:13-15):

Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come,
He shall guide you into all the truth: for He shall not speak from Himself; but what things soever He shall hear, these shall He speak: and He shall declare unto you the things that are to come. He shall glorify me: for He shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you. All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that He taketh of mine, and shall declare it unto you.'

Since the Holy Spirit would lead every believer into ALL TRUTH from the moment He came (read Acts 2!) there was never the need for any kind of 'organisation' such as the WBTS!

Having heard the claim of Papal Roman Catholics that
their organisation preserved the true gospel from the time of the apostles (when the truth is that they could not even fully agree over the true canon of Scripture in Constantine's reign and way beyond!), we see that the WBTS state that the truth Jesus promised would not have been 'gained in a thousand years if we had read and studied unaided'!

The next page reveals the astonishing and devastating admission made by the colossally moronic WBTS!

The Watchtower, August 15, 1981, p28-29 - here the WBTS first accuse:

'" From time to time, there have arisen from among the ranks of Jehovah's people those who, like the original Satan, have adopted an independent, faultfinding attitude.'

Then they boast:

'Reviling the pattern of the "pure language" that Jehovah has so graciously taught his people over the past century, these haughty ones try to draw the "sheep" away from the one international "flock" that Jesus has gathered in the earth. (John 10:7-10, 16)
They try to sow doubts and to separate unsuspecting ones from the bounteous "table" of spiritual food spread at the Kingdom Halls of Jehovah's Witnesses, where truly there is 'nothing lacking.' (Ps. 23:1-6)'

Then they inadvertently admit to the real truth:

'They say that it is sufficient  to read the Bible  exclusively, either alone or in small groups at home.
But, strangely, through such 'Bible reading,' they have reverted right back to the apostate doctrines that commentaries by Christendom's clergy were teaching 100 years ago, and some have even returned to celebrating Christendom's festivals again, such as the Roman Saturnalia of December 25!  Jesus and his apostles warned against such lawless ones. - Matt. 24:1113; Acts 20:28-30; 2 Pet. 2:1, 22.'

How is it possible that some Jehovah's Witnesses have dared to read the Bible and somehow 'reverted right back' to believing what orthodox Christian churches teach and believe?!!!

The simple truth is that the 'unique' WBTS doctrines are not found in the Bible and only those who constantly view the true Word of God through the prism of the WBTS books and magazines will continue to be brainwashed by them, while those reading the Bible alone and praying that the Holy Spirit alone will guide them are very likely to believe the true, historical Christian doctrines so hated by the evil WBTS!

The Watchtower, July 1, 1973, p402 - the 'modest' claims of the WBTS continue:

'
Only this organization functions for Jehovah's purpose and to his praise. To it alone God's Sacred Word, the Bible, is not a sealed book' and 'true Christians appreciate associating with the only organization on earth that understands the "deep things of God"!

Clearly the word 'understand' does not mean what the WBTS think it means!

We can understand the terrible fear that would grip so many Jehovah's Witnesses as the false prophets of the WBTS piled on the pressure as their predicted 1975 'Har-Magedon' approached.
